Good Day Farm is a high growth cannabis brand in Little Rock, Arkansas. They are looking for the best and most determined individuals to join their team at this pivotal moment in history: the end of cannabis prohibition in the US. The company is exceptionally well-funded through cash equity and plans to go public in the coming years. The two positions are modeling intensive but also provide exposure to the operational side by working directly with portfolio companies and with billionaire investors. 

About the role: 

The Insights Analyst and Data Analytics Manager will help drive revenue, market share, and margins by conducting quantitative analysis, mathematical methods, and modeling to make recommendations to key stakeholders in finance, sales, and operations internally and for portfolio companies. These roles will be a cross-functional partner that will translate data and optimize cannabis production / product allocation.  

They will influence important decisions at one of the fastest growing and leading cannabis companies. The decisions you make can have long-lasting effects on the industry for years to come.  

Both roles will work closely with the Chief Investment Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, and Director of Analytics in Little Rock, Arkansas. 

Responsibilities: 

• Conduct research and perform quantitative analyses on Excel 
• Own and provide recommendations to key stakeholders 
• Write reports and memos with insights and recommendations to drive internal decision making  
• Complete ad-hoc projects and analyses to support data-driven recommendations to optimize product lines, sales, and increase revenues 
• Help drive efficiencies among cannabis companies 
• Coordinate and communicate between departments to drive results 

Desired Background & Proficiency: 

• 1-2 years as an investment banking analyst OR 
• 2-4 years of experience as an Equity Research Analyst or Quantitative Analyst at an investment bank, hedge fund, or proprietary trading firm is desirable, 
• Highly skilled in financial modeling on Excel 
• Strong ability to perform business and sales analytics 
• Proficient in data visualizations (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Bachelor's degree in quantitative or technical field preferred (e.g. Operations research, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Engineering
